Bowser Seniors Housing Society volunteers were out in force at the June Second Sunday Market! Garage Sale Satisfied breakfast customers Happy Chefs!
Sunday, September 13th at the Lighthouse Community Hall Our Society would like to thank all those who donated to our garage sale, enjoyed a pancake breakfast, and helped us with both events. We had a good turnout, the sun was out, and we netted over $2,200.
And the Prizes go to…. Special guests, Bill Veenhof, RDN Director, Chief Michael Recalma, and Terry King, were on hand at our Pancake Breakfast at Lighthouse Community Centre to help us with the final prize draws for our raffle. The winners were: 1st Prize $300 BC Ferry gift certificates and $200 cash D.Josephson Ticket #0414
We were chosen as one of the charity/non-profit groups to host this year’s sand sculpting event. We asked for and were assigned six – four hour shifts and supplied seven volunteers for each shift.
