    We Have a New Fundraiser!

    A painting by Dick Stubbs has been donated to us and we have been given space by Magnolia Court to hang it on the outside patio next to The Brew under cover for all to enjoy.  In order to do so we have to raise a minimum of $250.00 for Bowser Seniors Housing Society.

    Here is how you can make this happen.  All donations of $25.00 or more will be tax receipted.

    This is the first public notice of our dream to build Lighthouse Villa.

  • Another Sold Out Show!

    Our fundraising drive to build the ‘Lighthouse Villa for Seniors’ has now reached a new high of $145,000… thanks to you!

    We had a successful evening Saturday, November 18th, with Elvis Elite, starring Steve Elliot in a tribute to the King, Elvis Presley.

    Along with the entertainment, we had a live and silent auction 
    with diverse offerings for bidding, Stocking Stuffer bags with
    guaranteed prizes, and an amazing meal. All enjoyed by a generous and appreciative crowd.

    We can’t thank you enough for supporting us with your donation and helping to raise awareness for our project.

  • Firewood Sales Raise over $2000!

    Thank you to our great volunteers who worked in the rain and cold selling permits for the Firewood Sale at the top of Cochrane Road on September 23rd, 24th and October 7th.  We are please to announce that we raised $2112.00 for Bowser Seniors Housing Society.   A huge thank you to Island Timberlands.

  • BSHS Sandcastle Ambassadors Receive Cheque from Beachfest

    On October 13th, Eileen Beadle and Laurie Basok attending the Beachfest cheque presentation.  Beachfest presented Sandcastle Ambassadors with a cheque for their volunteer activities at Beachfest.  Bowser Seniors Housing Society was very pleased to accept a cheque for $4,400 for the eight shifts we worked at Beachfest.   Thank you to Beachfest and our great volunteers for making this happen.

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

  • Clothing Out Sale a Great Success

    The Clothing Out Sale hosted by Pemberton Holmes Inc. in Bowser on October 14th was a great success. Thank you to Pemberton Holmes, our volunteers, and to all who donated and came and bought wonderful treasures. We raised $1130+ dollars.

  • More Firewood

    MORE FIREWOOD

    This weekend we will be teaming up with the Deep Bay Fire and Rescue Society for a Firewood Fundraiser. Many of you asked if we would be back again and we are happy to say that Firewood will once again be available on October 7, 8th and 9th. Details are on the poster below.
