Are you a Thrifty Foods shopper and want to help us out? We’ve been accepted into the Smile Card program and Thriftys will donate 5% of your grocery bill directly to our Society, when you use a Smile Card registered to us. We will be distributing the Smile Cards at our table at the Second Sunday Market at the Lighthouse Community Centre every month. Your Smile Card can be reloaded at any time right at the cashier prior to running your groceries through – just load it up and use it to pay for your groceries. You can also get additional Smile cards from us to use as gift cards for family and friends. Easy to load, easy to use, easy way to help your community!

We are thrilled to be the current choice of charity for a new donation idea from the easel of local artist, Cindy Mawle.New works of art will debut on her website from time to time for 10 days only, giving you an opportunity to purchase before they move on to a gallery for sale. A percentage of the proceeds will be donated to the charity or fundraiser chosen for the period.

Pancake Breakfast and Garage Sale 2015

at the Lighthouse Community HallOur Society would like to thank all those who donated to our garage sale, enjoyed a pancake breakfast, and helped us with both events. We had a good turnout, the sun was out, and we netted over $2,200.
